It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve talked to you? I guess time flies when you’re having fun!
I love, love, love summer! As soon as the clock strikes 4:30 on the weekdays, you’ll have to track me down outside if you need me.
And most of my weekends consist of this!
Which is fine by me! The fish love the water and Mimi loves the sun!
I do manage to sneak some fitness in during the week, and even decided to start a plank a day challenge on Monday!
This weeks schedule consisted of:
Monday: 2:33 plank after a 6 mile evening run powered by Energy Bits! Holy amazing! I loved them so much after just one use, I’m currently in the process of applying to become a product ambassador! And when I become one, I’ll be able to share a killer discount code with y’all!
Tuesday: Week 3 of Jillian Michaels “Ripped in 30″ yeah… this was rough!
Wednesday: More fun with Jillian
But I think it’s starting to pay off 🙂
Thursday: 9 mile run and 1,500 steps with Nikki, whom I think is trying to kill me
Friday: Icing of the knee due to Nicole’s torturous Thursday
Even skipped my plank a day….but just because I planned on doing it before bed and totally forgot until I was snug as a bug, no way I was getting out for that!
Saturday: Swimming with the kiddos! No real exercise involved there, but I did start the day off with a 4:00 plank!
And it was National French Fry Day! Of course we had to celebrate!
Hoping to get at least 4 miles in tonight once it cools off a bit!
Nik and I have decided to do the Women Rock Chicago half marathon in September as our first half rather than running the one in our home town. Mainly because, well, who wouldn’t want a silver, diamond, and ruby pendant from a hot guy at the finish? Not to mention a champagne after party with a commemorative flute and an awesome jacket? You had me at hot guy 13.1!
