Well, I’m still at it, Wednesday.

Day 3 of marathon training, I’m sure you wanna hear all about it!

Today’s run was a scheduled 5 miles, and let me tell you, it was not pretty.

Why is it that I can run an entire half marathon and not walk once, yet sometimes I can’t run 2 miles without walking a gazillion times? I may never know.

What I do know is I have decided, while enduring marathon training, I WILL NOT focus on how fast/slow I’m going or how many times I walk. I WILL focus on logging miles and finishing my run!

That, and ordering some more Cocogo! I came home a sweaty, thirsty mess only to find out I only had one pack left!

Have you tried this stuff? It’s THE BOMB 🎆 I’m not just saying that because I’m a brand ambassador either, it really is! And because I’m am ambassador, you can enter THERUNNINGBESTIES at checkout for 40% off! That rocks, huh?

If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you should. I did an awesome Cocogo giveaway and you missed it!

You should follow me on Facebook, too. Once I hit 600 likes, there just might be another giveaway👍

Gratuitous Maggie pic. You’re welcome.

I need to remember this!

  1. Tomorrow’s a 4-mile run for me in my marathon training. The hard part will be getting up early to do it! I’ve never heard of Coco-Go, I think I may have to look into that stuff! I know I’ve already liked you on FB, but I am all for another giveaway (maybe CocoGo???)!

  2. i like your take on marathon training. I have also been struggling with continuous running and am training for my second half and first full. I think it is good to remind yourself you are out there.. completing the MILES. regardless of pace or walk breaks. WHen is your marathon??
